Basil is a PERADI-licensed Advocate with a strong background from prominent law firms such as ABNR Counselors at Law, one of the largest law firms in Indonesia, as well as from dynamic startup companies. He possesses expertise in managing dual responsibilities across corporate and litigation matters.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) degree from the University of Indonesia, specializing in business and economic law, and has hands-on experience in handling high-stakes cases, including contributing to the PKPU settlement of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk. (Persero). Additionally, he has collaborated with UK-based law firm Monarch Associates in handling multinational disputes, including crossborder mining transactions.

His areas of practice include commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) law, with a particular focus on personal data protection. He has analyzed the application of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in comparison with Indonesia’s Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection. Basil is skilled in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents, navigating intricate regulatory frameworks, and delivering strategic legal solutions to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
