Indra Surya is a seasoned professional with a strong academic background. He earned his Doctorate in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in 2010, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Washington College of Law, American University in 1995, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Indonesia in 1990.

Upon graduating, Indra Surya immediately began his career at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, where he served for 30 years in various key roles, including Head of the Legal Division of the Capital Market Supervisory Agency (BAPEPAM), Head of the Bureau of Legal and Financial Assistance, and ultimately as Director of Asset and Information Systems. He was later appointed as Independent Commissioner of PT Pradiksi Gunatama Tbk, Legal Advisor at PT Bowsprit Asset Management, and Commissioner of PT Tuban Petrochemical Industries. His extensive and diverse experiences have earned him recognition as one of Indonesia’s leading experts in law and finance.

Indra Surya possesses deep expertise in Sharia Capital Markets, Foreign and Domestic Investment, and Corporate and Business Development Management. With over 37 years of experience in the legal, capital market, and financial sectors, he is highly adept at resolving complex legal and financial matters.
